    OUR BEGINNINGS
In April 2016 Renaissance Music artists, Legin and Sinai, went to Soshanguve, South Africa with CrossRoads Church to work with Kerus Global's Orphan Care Center. Kerus told Legin that many of their children, elementary to high school aged, were very vulnerable to kidnapping, sexual abuse, and trafficking, and that they really needed a Safe House. Legin, Sinai, and Focus went to work on an album called "Safe House" to dedicate 100% of the proceeds to help Kerus build it.

"Safe House" released everywhere June 2017 and generated energy behind the cause. Kristi Wells came on board to support the efforts and envisioned a Race series that would continue to fund efforts. The first race was in September 2017 and was successful. Shortly after, The Safe House Project was officially launched to continue growing support to complete the Safe House in South Africa and start to support other Safe Houses at home in the US, which don't meet the need of victims fleeing trafficking.

You are a part of providing refuge for victims of trafficking. Please sponsor or join a race, donate, spread the word, and help us provide more beds and resources to protect victims of modern day sex slavery.

    MISSION:
Provide a place of refuge for every victim of sex trafficking.

    VISION:
Support safe houses that provide refuge for victims of sex trafficking.

    SAFE HOUSE PROJECT LOGO
The logo used to symbolize Safe House Project was inspired by a symbol used during the Underground Railroad. The square symbol was used during the Underground Railroad, where people of all races, socioeconomic groups and backgrounds worked together to set the captives free. This square is the symbol that those fleeing slavery hoped to see. It was a symbol of hope indicating that they had finally reached a Safe House on their journey to freedom!

Today there are more people in Slavery than any other point in history. Our mission is to work collaboratively to provide more places of hope and freedom to those escaping Sex Slavery. We invite you into this movement.

Thank you so much for your support!
